Misings ICard We empower tribal communities to discover their identities and achieve recognition Our primary strength is our volunteer base.

I-Card was registered in March 2002 as a Trust to facilitate the total development of tribal communities in North-East India. We are currently working exclusively with the Mising tribe in both Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Comprising of member s from the Mising tribe, we currently have 5000 volunteers working on various I-Card initiatives. Our initiatives are based on –
1) Sustainable and culturally-rooted development.
2) Honest, responsible and self-reliant youth leadership.
3) Vibrant, open and self-evaluating culture and world-view for a life of human dignity and self-esteem.
