Introduction MFERD
The Madani Foundation for Education Research and Development (MFERD) is a pioneering institution dedicated to integrating Islamic knowledge with modern education. With a vision to nurture students in a serene and well-organized learning environment, MFERD aims to empower young minds with both religious and academic excellence. It offers a comprehensive education system that includes Quranic Hifz and Bengali-medium education from Grades 4 to 10, ensuring a balanced approach to learning. Alongside Islamic studies, students receive a modern education, well-structured English language and spoken classes, and skill-based training.
MFERD adopts advanced learning methods, including digital classrooms with scientifically designed audio-visual teaching techniques and weekly and monthly assessments to reinforce learning. Students also benefit from projector-based presentations on history, religion, geography, and world wonders. To support holistic development, the institution offers computer education, yoga, gymnastics, and a driving school for practical life skills. The safety and well-being of students are prioritized through 24-hour CCTV surveillance and an on-campus medical unit providing round-the-clock healthcare facilities.
With a strong commitment to social welfare, MFERD focuses on supporting orphans, low-income families, and disabled students. It welcomes donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations to sustain its educational programs for 250 students, ensuring contributors receive updates, certificates, and duas for their generosity. Currently, MFERD runs several educational programs, including Maktab for basic Islamic education, Alamiyyat till Arabi Som Class for advanced Islamic studies, KG (Primary) School for Grades 1 to 4, and Boys Mission for Grades 5 to 10.
Looking ahead, MFERD is expanding its reach by launching new initiatives, including a Girls Mission for Grades 5 to 10, ensuring quality education for female students, and an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) focusing on electricity and plumbing to equip students with vocational skills for self-sufficiency. Through its commitment to quality education, skill development, and moral values, MFERD is shaping a future generation of knowledgeable, creative, and responsible individuals ready to contribute to society.
