Sweet voice was started in 2009 with the mission of development and education and rehabilitation of hearing impaired children especially in rural areas of Rajasthan. It is especially designed for the need of a hearing impaired child. The key focus of our organization is to establish a complete educational system for hearing impaired children so that they can make their life beautiful and joyful an
d live with self-respect and dignity. The organization approaches auditory/oral rehabilitation based education to deaf children for development of speech and language in these children so that they children can express their feelings in words to normal peoples. Organization set its unique pattern of education for overall development of these children. Most of organizations for these children are working in the urban areas of Rajasthan and doing great job but the rural public is not aware about these organizations. In the lack of the information these children are not getting proper education. After research Sweet Voice decided to approach the rural people so that their deaf children can get better education. In the process to approach rural population we decided to organize various awareness camps at sub-divisional (Tehsil) level. In these camps our staff went to the camp place before 3-4 days of camp date and visit nearby villages and towns through a camp van which is especially designed for these camps. At early stage we don’t have any support in terms of financial as well as social. In the lack of resources we organized a largest awareness campaign across Rajasthan in the history of Deaf education. We organized more than 30 camps across Rajasthan in last 4 years. Most of our students come from these camps. It is a very effective program to literate rural public about the education of these children. The organization is registered with the Social Justice and Empowerment department Rajasthan and Department of Education Rajasthan. The organization is set-up under the Indian Society act, 1958 and registered under the 80 (G) and 12 (A) sections of Income tax act. Organization was started a school in a small town with just six students. In the short time, the school has set a milestone in Rajasthan in the field of hearing impaired disability. The school has changed all the parameters of education of hearing impaired children. The main aim of our organization is to power-up the deaf people to join the mainstream living. Sweet Voice School is one of the very few schools in India to marshal in a new era of educational, vocational and cultural rehabilitation of such children.
