Empowering Arunachal Pradesh Youth for Careers in Banking!
A highly impactful Career Awareness Programme was organized in Itanagar today to promote lucrative employment opportunities in the banking sector among the youth of Arunachal Pradesh!
The collaborative initiative was jointly conducted by the SBI SC/ST Employees' Welfare Association (SEWA), the SBI Regional Business Office, Itanagar, and the Apatani Interdisciplinary Research Society (AIRS).

Target Audience: Attended by graduate students, aspiring job seekers, and senior officials from SBI, SEWA, and AIRS.
Expert Guidance: Resource persons decoded the entire SBI recruitment process, detailing eligibility criteria, exam patterns, interview strategies, and long-term career growth.
The Wake-up Call: Speakers highlighted a critical gap—in 2024, out of 85 SBI Junior Associate vacancies allocated to Arunachal Pradesh, only 9 candidates qualified. They emphasized the urgent need for focused preparation and proper mentorship to reverse this trend.
Direct Interaction: Aspiring youth engaged in a lively Q&A session, clearing doubts directly with serving SBI officers.

The event was graced by Smt. Binju Karlo (DGS, SEWA Dibrugarh Module) and Shri Rakesh Kumar (Regional Manager, SBI Itanagar Region).Expert insights were shared by resource persons including Shri Tashi Nungnu (Chief Manager & SLBC Coordinator), Shri Mridul Boruah (Manager HR), Shri M. Paulunmang Zou (Probationary Officer), and Shri Tope Karga (Regional Secretary, SEWA Itanagar Region).AIRS Executive Member Shri Gyati Tachang Tado extended a heartfelt vote of thanks, felicitating the resource persons with traditional mufflers to appreciate their efforts in guiding the state's youth toward bright career paths.With the program ending on a high note, both SBI and AIRS have reaffirmed their commitment to hosting more such awareness drives across the state!
