uality and address social justice and public health issues. Vatsalya catalyses multi-stakeholder ecosystems to accelerate social change by strengthening community-based organizations on health issues at grass level and advocating issues pertinent to health by demonstrating workable scale-up models.

🌸Women Rising, Nature Thriving. 🌸🌍
Vatsalya with the support from UPDESCO, the Women with Wings project is breaking barriers around menstrual health in the urban slum communities of Lucknow.

We’re creating safe spaces where adolescent girls and women can talk freely about menstrual health, adolescence, and hygiene practices—correcting myths, addressing taboos, and promoting confidence. 💬💪🏽

🌿 What We Do:
✅ Training of adolescent girls, ASHA/ANMs and community women on MHM
✅ Explain biological, emotional & hormonal changes during adolescence
✅ Promote menstrual cups as safe, sustainable, and cost-effective alternatives
✅ Host open discussions to bust myths & reduce stigma
✅ Distribute menstrual cups for use with hands-on guidance
✅ Engage menstrual cup champions to lead peer awareness

🌍 Why it Matters:
Menstrual cups reduce waste, save money, and support long-term menstrual hygiene.
We’re driving a movement toward —where menstrual health meets environmental sustainability.

अब हमारी किशोरियाँ भी बनी हैं परिवर्तन की अगुआ —
वे न सिर्फ खुद पानी बचाने, शौचालय के प्रयोग, और स्वच्छता के व्यवहार को अपना रही हैं, बल्कि दूसरों को भी दूषित जल से होने वाली बीमारियों के बारे में जागरूक कर रही हैं। 🙌💪

ये हैं हमारे भविष्य की असली हीरो! 🌟
