When I began my
journey I could not see
too far ahead. When I wrote
the book “Life According
to Me” I was going
through major
challenges and I felt the
need to share my story
so that someone that
might be going through
similar challenges in the
need of hope would find
it. I look back and I recall
the hopes I had and the
expectations I had
however I continued my
journey with one
mindset and it was
to
become a better version
of myself. That is
indeed my daily drive. I
wanted to improve who
I was, give the best of
me and just do the right
thing just because I
could. Looking back I realize I
am in constant change,
I have not stopped. I
am more open than
ever to discovering who
I am and to reinventing
myself. I am more
eager to push past my
fears and limitations
and I look at life not
with caution but with a
renewed sense of hope. My life has changed
much from what I
described in that book,
however that book
saved my life. It made
me become honest and
helped me face my
demons. I am very
proud of “Life According
to Me” and I am more
proud to have become a
stronger version of the
woman I once was. Life is not for the faint
of heart, it is meant to
be lived to the fullest. Life is in constant
movement, providing us
lessons that when
learned will take us to
the next phase of our
lives. As I embark on this
new phase, I do so with
a bit of sadness for loss
yet with much
excitement to what lies
ahead. My life will never
be the same yet I know
that there are great
things in store for me. If you are reading this
post…know that you
were given a chance to
live a full life and if you
are like me that believes
in God you will
understand that he has
a plan for each of us
and has given us a
purpose we must fulfill. What is that purpose? You will know it once
you become clear on
who you are and what
you want. You will feel it
in your heart and it will
complete you and make
you the person you
always wanted to be.
