Vilson spent his life behind the wheel of a trolley, working tirelessly to provide a better future for his family. One unfortunate accident changed everything. The crash was so severe that Vilson lost both his legs, instantly taking away his ability to work, walk, and live independently.
Today, Vilson is dependent on others for even the smallest daily needs. The responsibilities he once carried with pride now fall on his wife, who works in farming fields to keep their household running and ensure their son can continue his studies in 9th standard. Despite her efforts, the family’s income is barely enough to meet daily expenses, let alone the cost of medical care, prosthetic legs, and rehabilitation.
Vilson’s greatest pain is not just physical—it is emotional. Being unable to stand on his own feet and provide for his family has left him heartbroken. Yet, he holds on to one hope: to walk again and regain his dignity.
