For more than 100 years, Rotarians have joined together from all continents, cultures, and occupations to take action in our communities and worldwide. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. Rotary is a service organization of business and professional persons united worldwide who have accepted the ideal of service as the real basis for attaining success
and happiness in personal, business and community life. The first ROTARY CLUB was formed on 23rd February, 1905 in Chicago by a layer, Paul P. Rotary has over 1.2 million service minded members belonging to 34,108 Rotary Clubs in 207 countries. Rotary International is the association of all Rotary Clubs worldwide. The Rotary International Headquarters is in Evanston, Illinois, USA. The name Rotary was derived from the early practice of rotating meetings among member's offices. This interactive communication group provides an opportunity to Rotarians to network, exchange information, broadcast news and tell their Rotary experiences which is of interest to Rotarians.
