Street Cause is an NGO comprising of enthusiastic and passionate students students who intend to give back to the society and bring about the much required change.The main objective of Street Cause is to help the underprivileged, such as orphans, the elderly, the unemployed and the specially abled, to live their lives in the best way possible. Street Cause also aims to educate and empower the yout

Street cause has conducted more than 2000 tasks, a few of which have been organized in collaboration with prestigous organisations like Deloitte, Gold Drop industries, Indian Red Cross Society and others. With the goal of making a permanent impact on society, we have been undertaking a project called the Hyderabad Youth Assembly. HYA is the ultimate platform for the youth of the city to congregate, discuss and act upon the problems prevailing in our society. Another milestone that we recently crossed is that the \biggest fund raiser ever in the history of street cause - "Parinama" was organised and executed. Task Summary
Street Cause VJIT, SBS, and GNITS successfully executed Project Jalashraya with the vision of ensuring access to safe and clean drinking water for the rural community. Through this initiative, the teams worked towards utilizing the existing Mission Bhagiratha water supply system effectively by promoting the installation of a water filtration facility capable of providing purified drinking water free of cost to the villagers. As part of the project, the team undertook the construction of a shed to establish the required water plant infrastructure and also facilitated the provision of electricity necessary for the smooth functioning of the filtration unit. The initiative focused on creating a sustainable and reliable setup capable of continuously serving the drinking water needs of the community. Project Jalashraya stands as a meaningful effort towards improving public health, sanitation, and quality of life in rural areas by ensuring access to purified drinking water infrastructure.
