I am Not Idiot (INI) is a brainchild of few like minded forward thinking software professionals who are making every effort to bring in a positive change among the responsible citizens of Hyderabad. Though, this is just a first step before taking a big leap in future to spread this awareness to different cities in India and to make best use of the available infrastructure in our cities. In today’s
fast paced city life, road accidents have become a consistent column feature in the daily news. The reports show that almost 98% of all the accidents happen due to sheer negligence in following the traffic rules which ultimately results in loss of precious life and there by leaving many families deprived of a decent living
The major reason for traffic violations and accidents has nothing to do with the powerful vehicles or unmanned control systems that we possess today, but the way we use these machines. These vehicles and machines that we have today are originally designed to make our lives easy. These machines will serve the original purpose only by using them the right way. If not used properly these may become much more dangerous than nuclear weapons. So, the first thing that we need to do is to change our own attitude towards fellow commuters and most importantly attitude that proclaim who cares. Every day we see many commuters are penalized for violation of traffic rules and for not having required approvals for driving vehicles, by authorized few. However, we also would like to bring back the old system and ensure that one's hard earned money is not spent for payment of fines on account of non-renewal of any certificates but spend that money to help them to avoid making such mistakes. This website is not just about informing you all about traffic rules but to create awareness on how as a responsible citizen we should be organized and follow the traffic rules and there by turn each individual into a responsible citizen and make our every day drive a happy and joyful experience. * Ability to show your certificates via mobile app (coming soon).
* Click and Pick feature via mobile app (Coming soon) will enable any volunteer to post a photograph on any traffic violations to us which in turn will be used to create more awareness. Apart from the above we are also planning to come with some more benefits to all registered users, which will be communicated via SMS, Email and also published on this site in the near future. Small but few important things to note:
* Ultimately, it’s you and me together who have to contribute for establishing road safety and traffic systems that includes infrastructure and staff? Let us realize one thing “our contribution is complete only when we follow the rules that are laid out for our own safety”.
* We all know our beloved ones are waiting for us each day till we get back home, avoiding rash driving and following traffic rules will help you see them after your tiring day. Having fun, drinks, and good time at a party is great. But, you would have to follow the traffic rules after the party to make sure that those moments are really memorable for all of you.
