Bharatiyam is a nonprofit organization that seeks to empower poor populations of India and equip them with the right skills & resources to uplift themselves from poverty. Inspired by Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi, Bharatiyam Foundation has conceptualized and leading Bharatiyam Program of paying back to society and helping people to help themselves in the domains of Education and Livelihoods
, since 2010. To begin with, Bharatiyam Vidya includes Vidyarthi (adopting a student), Vidyalayam (adopting a school), Gurukulam and Vidya Nidhi; and Bharatiyam Jeevika includes Kutumbam (adopting a family), Jeevika (adopting a livelihood), Gramam (adopting a village) and Jeevika Nidhi. As part of this concept, Bharatiyam has adopted and is working closely with and supporting Sprouts English Medium School at Karimnagar.
