Our weekly volunteer meeting is as much an integral experience of Udaan as teaching is.

This week, we discussed what our end goal looks like; and how we want to define and track the progress of the students.

We discussed how the volunteers are learning patience through the program, as well as how important it is to draw the line between empathy and having boundaries with the children.

We discussed how important it is to plan beforehand, and how a good class plan helps ensures a smooth session.

This meeting was filled with laughter! The volunteers talked about their shared experience of the weird, funny, and sometimes even annoying aspects of teaching young boys.

Here’s us, wishing happiness and success for both our students and our volunteers.

Keertana, Hussain, Gopal and Mirza were our volunteer teachers for 17th September 2023.

The project aims to teach students fundamental English skills such as reading, listening, spelling, and writing. Each volunteer took up activities designed specifically for their group of students based on their current levels.

We are excited to see the progress of each child. More to go!

With Christmas spirit and joy in their hearts fellow rotaractors came together for the Secret Santa fellowship on 18th of December 2022. The fellowship was organized by club services avenue at Country Club, Begumpet.
Conversations and food was shared.
Warm hugs and lovely gifts were exchanged on this day. Secret Santa was a lovely, joyful end to the year.

'Team work makes dream work'- a vision with which the board of 2022-23 embarked on their new journey of change-making as they were inducted in the Installation Ceremony on December 11, 2023. Organised by the board of 2021-22 at MAA ENT Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, the ceremony had a zealous atmosphere with the newly inducted members ready to take charge. Dignitaries from the district council graced the ceremony with their presence and inspired the team with their insights.

The festive spirit of "Halloween" was all the more special as our fellow rotaractors got to spend the day with furry friends.
The Rotaract club of Falcon organized a 'Meet and Greet' with our puppy buds at the Dog Park in Necklace Road, on 30th of October from 6:30 AM onwards.
It was a warm and fun-filled way to kick start the day with our furry friends.
