Jampa Choling Welcome to Jampa Choling, the first Tibetan Buddhist monastery for women in Lower-Kinnaur, India, and home to 24 nuns and their teacher.

Founded in 2000 with the help of the Venerable Karma Lekshe Tsomo and the Jamyang Foundation, Jampa Choling Institute is an innovative education project for girls and women in Meeru, Kinnaur, India. Jampa Choling aims to help girls and women pursue learning that is harmonious with their personal interests and unique Buddhist cultural background.
