Heritage Foundation: Growing Stronger with Your Support 🌿

With your continuous love and support, the Heritage Foundation is progressing steadily—day by day, year after year—expanding its reach and impact across the nation. We are truly grateful for the trust and encouragement you have shown us.

Heritage education plays a vital role in shaping our identity, as it connects us to our roots. We strongly urge all educators to actively integrate heritage-based learning into their teaching practices, helping students understand and value our rich cultural legacy. In line with this vision, Heritage Foundation is planning teacher training programs in the upcoming academic session.

:
We are overwhelmed by the remarkable response to the National Heritage Olympiad ( ). This year, participation has expanded significantly, with many residential schools joining the initiative. We proudly conducted the Olympiad across 12 states, and the response from across the country continues to inspire us.

We request educators and school leaders to promote NHO among parents and students, just like other academic Olympiads, and encourage wider participation.

In addition, Heritage Foundation is actively working towards securing GI Tag recognition for traditional products. We are proud to share that Gwalior Paper Mache Art has successfully received status, and several more traditional crafts are in the pipeline.

We are also entering into MoUs with schools to promote structured heritage activities. Schools interested in collaborating with us are welcome to connect directly.
Let us come together to promote our heritage, strengthen heritage education, and inspire the next generation.

18/04/2026

Heritage is our identity and our roots—it defines who we are. In all its forms, it deserves our care, respect, and protection. Let us come together to preserve and promote our rich heritage for future generations.
Heritage Foundation wishes You all a Happy World Heritage Day 💐💐

From the forests of Odisha to the plate, Kai Chutney is a remarkable celebration of tradition, taste, and tribal wisdom.

Prepared by the indigenous communities of Mayurbhanj, this unique chutney is made using red weaver ants (kai pimpudi), known for their distinct tangy and pungent flavour. Blended with spices and herbs, Kai Chutney offers a bold fusion of savoury, spicy, sour, and earthy notes, making it not just a dish, but an experience rooted in nature.

Now proudly recognized with the GI (Geographical Indication) tag, Kai Chutney stands as a symbol of rich tribal culinary heritage, sustainable harvesting practices, and time-honoured indigenous knowledge systems.

It is a true testament to how local traditions can enrich global gastronomy while preserving ecological balance and cultural identity.

Had a wonderful and enriching meeting today with Shri Ajay Singh Sir (Principal, The Scindia School, Gwalior).

As schools are currently preparing their annual calendars, this is the perfect time to formally integrate Heritage Foundation’s year-round activities through MoUs. Such structured collaboration helps avoid repeated follow-ups and creates a truly win–win situation for both institutions.

We sincerely appreciate the positive response and meaningful discussion. On this occasion, Shri Chandradeep Singh ji also graciously presented his co-authored book “Brahmi Unveiled – India’s Earliest Script” (with Dr. Kamakshi).

We are delighted to share that Heritage Foundation will once again be conducting its activities at the school, further strengthening this long-standing and meaningful association.

Heritage education plays a vital role in connecting students with their roots. It is essential for young minds to understand and appreciate all forms of heritage—cultural, historical, and traditional. We strongly believe that heritage should be promoted as an important subject alongside science, arts, and humanities, especially as it also offers diverse and meaningful career opportunities.

This is a humble request to all educators and institutions shaping our future generations—if students are to build a strong and successful future, they must first understand their past.
Let us come together to promote heritage and make it an integral part of education.
