This International Women’s Day, I want to share a story close to my heart—my own journey as a breast cancer warrior.
📅 On March 28, 2024, I was diagnosed with Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC)—a moment that turned my world upside down. The journey has been physically and emotionally challenging, and even as treatment continues, the impact remains.
Along the way, I met incredible women who faced the reality of losing their breasts. I heard their struggles—the discomfort of traditional prostheses, the challenge of feeling like themselves again. I realized how much a soft, comfortable alternative could mean.
💗 That’s why I started TaruVedas—in memory of Taru, a dear friend I lost too soon. TaruVedas is officially listed with Knitted Knockers USA, ensuring that breast cancer warriors in India have access to free handmade knitted knockers—because every woman deserves comfort, confidence, and dignity.
🩷 If you or someone you know needs a knitted knocker, I’m here.

💪 This Women’s Day, let’s celebrate strength—not just in fighting battles, but in lifting each other up.
