Hon’ble Shri Justice A.P. Sahi, President, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, delivered the keynote address at the Two-Day Regional Workshop on Consumer Protection in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
In his address, Justice Sahi thanked the Government of Chhattisgarh, the Hon’ble Minister, State officials and participants, including Ms. Nidhi Khare, Secretary, DoCA and members of Consumer Commissions, for organising the programme.
He emphasised active engagement with experts, effective use of virtual hearings to reduce pendency, and highlighted emerging challenges such as digital fraud and “digital arrest” cases under examination.
Justice Sahi also encouraged all stakeholders to work together to further strengthen consumer protection and ensure timely and effective justice for citizens.
