Summer Camp – Nature Walk at Bornadi Wildlife Sanctuary successfully completed.

A two-day immersive summer camp titled “Nature Walk at Bornadi Wildlife Sanctuary” was successfully conducted on 26th and 27th July, organized by Green Trek and Adventure in collaboration with the Dhanshri Forest Division.
The camp saw enthusiastic participation from 15 individuals, including students and nature lovers from Guwahati University, Udalguri, and Tamulpur darrang and Guwahati.
A captivating session on wildlife photography by Najib Ahmed, a renowned international award-winning wildlife photographer.
An informative lecture by Surabhi Dutta, a WWF activist and environmentalist, focusing on the unique biodiversity and conservation challenges of Bornadi Wildlife Sanctuary.
A specialized session on birdwatching and the forest ecosystem by Debanga Mahalia, a bird expert and conservationist.
A nature trail deep inside the sanctuary, where participants observed a variety of birds, butterflies, and other species in their natural habitat.along with an open discussion and Q&A on rainforest conservation, fostering awareness and active participation among the attendees.
The camp was graced by Bornadi Wildlife Ranger Rajen Daimary, along with noted wildlife activists Satyajit Phukan and Malay Kr. Deka. The forest department extended active support and cooperation, ensuring the smooth and enriching conduct of the camp. Above all special thanks to DFO Mustafa Ali Ahmed sir.
The result of field work: On 26th. July 2025, 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, inside the Bornadi WLS under the guidance of Debanga Mahalia .
