During this week 5 healthy puppies were abandoned in the market. We checked them out and 4 are males, we couldn’t check the shy one ☹️

Shortly after this video was taken the full chocolate brown one was lucky enough to find his furever home.

We with them luck in their new lives together

Abandonment is illegal

We’re hoping that the remaining 4 find homes before they’re either killed by traffic or catch some fatal disease

Yesterday 9 females were taken to the shelter to be sterilised.

These females will live a much healthier and happier life without the knowledge of what it’s like to continuously be having puppies.

Sterlisation is the humane way to control the dog population. Every sterilisation saves so many lives.

Help us to help them.

We sent 3 more females for surgery today.
They will be returned after recovery to their places of collection

Sterlisation is the humane way to manage dog population. These young ladies will not be contributing and will lead happier healthier lives.

Today is ‘Honeys’ lucky day.
She’s found her pet parents and two new playmates, she’s gone to wonderful family who she can call her own.

Last monsoon we’d spent a lot of time trying to catch 4 juvenile females at Varca Beach for sterilisation. On achieving this they were operated and returned this is one of those 4, after returning to the beach they disappeared.

Now the shacks have closed up and their source of food is over she has returned to her feeding area.
Upon seeing her after 6 months in such a bad condition it’s now up to us to treat her for her severe mange and provide her with good nutritional food.

Treatment has commenced and we will be monitoring her progress closely.
