Our most recent adoption camp was successfully held at the Rosary commercial arcade in Navelim today. A significant number of puppies were seeking their permanent homes, with 10 fortunate puppies finding theirs. Notably, two individuals adopted two puppies each, which was particularly heartwarming. We extend our gratitude to Dr. Annalise for her invaluable assistance in vaccinating the puppies and conducting thorough health checks, as well as counseling the new families on future care. We also appreciate the tireless efforts of our dedicated volunteers, whose kindness and support are instrumental in our achievements, especially given the challenging heat. 🥰🐾🐕

14 dogs this week have been taken to be sterilised at the WVS sterilisation camp in Navelim.

2 of them were owner male dogs, it’s a step forward to responsible pet ownership when people come forward to get the males neutered.

All the dogs have now been safely returned to their territories and will live a much happier healthy life thanks to the wonderful vets, staff and teams of WVS and Mission Rabies for their hard work and dedication to animal welfare across the state.

Out again this morning with the intention to get some dogs for spaying and we managed to get 5 healthy females. Now they’ll live happier lives as they’ll not be contributing to the dog population.

Huge thanks to David and Cindy & Sam for their help today.
We managed to get 5 females to the shelter for ABC surgery. They will be returned back home to Cavelossim, Velim and Betal Batim after a few days.

It may not seem a lot but every dog that is neutered or Spayed helps to reduce the dog population on a humane manner
