The second half of the programme commenced with an Awarding Night, where distinguished individuals from various genres—including leadership, literature, dance, music, art, and social contribution—were felicitated in recognition of their outstanding achievements.

The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Paramananda Rajbongshi, Hon’ble MLA of Sipajhar Constituency. Other eminent guests included Nuruddin Ahmed, Padma Shri awardee; Sailen Das, General Secretary, All Assam Hospitality Welfare Association; and Mukul Medhi, President, Tour Operators Association of Assam.

The celebration concluded on an inspiring note, reaffirming the Association’s commitment to nurturing tourism education, leadership, creativity, and professional excellence among students across Assam.

All Assam Tourism Students Association Celebrates 8th Annual Convention & Foundation Day with Dukmukali Award Show 2.0

The All Assam Tourism Students Association successfully celebrated its 8th Annual Convention and Foundation Day, marked by the vibrant Dukmukali Award Show 2.0, along with a Photography and Videography Competition. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, academicians, professionals, and guests from diverse fields.

The programme was conducted in two phases. The first half featured the General Elections, during which a new Central Committee was democratically constituted. The newly elected office bearers are:

* Vice President: Divanjyoti Bora
* General Secretary: Himanko Malakar
* State Secretary: Rocktima Baruah
* Assistant General Secretary:Hino K Assumi
* Treasurer: Himanjyoti Sarma
The academic fraternity was prominently represented by Manoj Kr Mahanta, Principal, Pragjyotish College; Dr. Gargee Chakraborty, Principal, M.N.C Girls College, Nalbari; Dr. Mani Sarmah Shastri, Principal, Saraighat College; and Dr. Devobrat Khanikar, Principal, Sonapur College.
