3-day Workshop on “Preparation of Perspective Planning” at Gramya Vikash Mancha, Nalbari, Assam, on 13th, 14th and 21st June, 2024.

This programme was attended by the President, Vice-president, Vision Staff, Project Coordinators, Programme Managers and other staffs of GVM.

The objective of this programme is to help the organization in preparing a 10-year Perspective Plan particularly focusing on experiences and learning of Holistic Rural Development Project, being implemented by GVM, supported by HDFC Bank Limited.

About GVM: Gramya Vikash Mancha (GVM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged communities in rural Assam. GVM works to create a peaceful, prosperous, and egalitarian society by promoting self-employment, social justice, and dignity, especially for women. The organization envisions villages free from exploitation, where all individuals can thrive.

4-day Workshop on “Self-leadership in an Organizational Setting” at Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission, Guwahati, Assam, from 12th June to 15th June, 2024.

This programme was attended by the senior/middle level executives and junior level executives/staff of the organization, as well as a number of interns from BITS Pilani and Tezpur University.

The purpose of this programme was to acquaint the participants about different skills necessary to be a self – leader and to show her/him the path of improvement, through interactions, discussions, self – assessment and real – life case study exercises.

About AERC: Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission (AERC), Guwahati, Assam promotes competition, efficiency, and economy in Assam's electricity industry. It regulates power purchase and procurement processes for distribution utilities and determines tariffs for electricity at various levels, including wholesale, bulk, grid, retail, and transmission within the state.

2-day Self-leadership Development Programme at SATRA, Sipajhar, Assam, on 13th and 14th May, 2024.

About SATRA: SATRA (Social Action for Appropriate Transformation and Advancement in Rural Areas) is a Sipajhar-based grassroots level non-governmental organization, headed by Mr. Nani Saikia.
