Nasha Mukt Bharat Awareness Rally Organised by Bharat Scouts & Guides, District Headquarters Ganderbal

In continuation of the nationwide campaign Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, a grand anti-drug awareness rally was organised today on 2nd May 2026 by the Bharat Scouts & Guides, District Headquarters Ganderbal, in collaboration with the School Education Department, under the guidance of the District Administration Ganderbal. The programme was conducted under the visionary leadership of the Honβble Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha Ji, with the objective of creating mass awareness against drug abuse and promoting a healthy, disciplined, and drug-free society.
The rally was ceremoniously flagged off by the Chief Guest, Chief Education Officer Ganderbal (District Chief Commissioner) from Boys High School Tullamulla in the presence of eminent dignitaries and officers. Among those present on the occasion were Guest of Honour Mr. Gulzar Ahmad, SHO Kheer Bhavani, Deputy Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, Mr. Nazir Ahmad, Coordinator CEW, Principal GHSS Tullamulla as Nodal Officer, Mr. Bilal Ahmad Speaker, Social Activist, besides several other officers and officials from the district administration.
Before the commencement of the rally, all participants took a solemn pledge to work collectively towards eradication of drug abuse and to spread awareness among youth regarding its harmful effects. The pledge ceremony reflected the shared commitment of the District Administration and Bharat Scouts & Guides towards building a responsible and healthy society free from the menace of narcotics.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from almost all registered units of Bharat Scouts & Guides, District Ganderbal. Rovers, Rangers, Scouts, Guides, es**rt teachers, volunteers, and students joined the awareness drive with great zeal and dedication. Carrying placards and banners bearing anti-drug messages, the participants marched through the main residential areas and market vicinity of Tullamulla, ensuring maximum outreach among the local population.
During the rally, slogans such as Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life, Youth Against Drugs, He
