| In recognition of his tireless efforts, Binong Teron is set to receive the prestigious Assam Guruv Award. This esteemed honor recognizes his contributions to promoting education and empowering marginalized communities.

Binong Teron, is an independent educational counsellor from Rongthelu, Manja, Karbi Anglong, Assam, has been instrumental in empowering the youth of his community. Born on September 26, 1996, to Mr. Hemari Teron and Mrs. Kache Terangpi, Binong's academic prowess was evident from an early age.

He excelled at Little Flower School, Manja, and later at Don Bosco Higher Secondary, Diphu, before pursuing his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Microbiology at Mewar University, Rajasthan. Currently, Binong is pursuing his Ph.D in Life Science from Sharda University, Noida.

However, Binong's true passion lies in giving back to his community. He established a coaching centre in Manja, where he provides free education to over 50 students. Every weekend, Binong visits schools in remote areas of Karbi Anglong, engaging with students and sharing his expertise.

Since 2022, he has been offering free career counselling to underprivileged children, visiting over 200 schools and conducting sessions in villages, often meeting parents at their homes. Binong's selfless dedication has made a profound impact on the lives of countless young people, inspiring them to pursue their dreams and aspirations.
