Oil field riders Assam - Riding club in collaboration with The M.E.N MC, successfully organized a Road Safety & Social Awareness Program at VIDYA: The Living School, Subahi, Dhemaji on 29th March 2026. The initiative was aimed at spreading awareness about responsible riding, traffic rules, and the importance of safety measures such as wearing helmets and maintaining speed limits. Through interactive sessions and meaningful engagement with students and locals, the program emphasized building a culture of discipline and awareness on the roads.
The event witnessed active participation from club members, who not only shared their experiences as riders but also highlighted the role every individual plays in ensuring safer roads. The message was clear—road safety is not just a rule, but a responsibility towards oneself and society. The collaboration between both motorcycle clubs reflected unity, purpose, and a shared commitment to community welfare.
Following the awareness program, the riders embarked on a disciplined and well-coordinated ride to the historical site of Habung, known as the 2nd oldest capital of the Ahom Kingdom. The ride symbolized respect for heritage while promoting the spirit of safe riding. Surrounded by history and culture, the visit added a deeper meaning to the journey—connecting the present with the rich legacy of Assam.
This initiative stood as a perfect blend of awareness, brotherhood, and heritage. It reinforced the idea that riding is not just about the thrill of the road, but also about responsibility, unity, and contributing positively to society.
