Rising Star Khilte Chehre (RSKC) is India’s only structured real-world experiential learning
movement enabling visually impaired citizens to move, learn, and

lead independently—
transforming fear into confidence and dependence into leadership. Established in 2019, RSKC works at the intersection of inclusion, dignity, and real-world
exposure, implementing rights-based, scalable programs aligned with national priorities and
the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. RSKC is fully compliant with statutory and CSR requirements, including:

India is losing millions of customers at the mall gate.

Millions of blind and visually impaired Indians—tech-enabled, independent, ready to spend—are still treated like inconvenience at entrances.

Not because they can’t shop.
Because we assume they won’t.

That assumption is expensive.
India has ~5 million blind citizens and ~35 million people with visual impairment. That’s not a fringe group. That’s a massive customer base.

When a guard stops someone for “crowd flow,” what the mall actually loses is footfall, repeat visits, trust, and loyalty.
Dignity denied today becomes revenue lost tomorrow.

At Rising Star Khilte Chehre (RSKC), we’re raising this as an awareness issue that must be called out—by guards, managers, and bystanders who choose silence.
