Significance of Durga Puja
The festival honors the Sanatan-Hindu goddess Durga and commemorates her victory over the buffalo demon Mahishasura. It symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and is a celebration of divine feminine power, strength, and compassion. While celebrated across Globe.

The celebration includes a message focused on minimizing high electricity bills, in line with the NDA-BJP initiative to raise awareness about the use of solar energy in every household (including GHS and RWA) and business premises.

To generate awareness and attract more visitors to their stall, participants can engage in a "Question Circle" activity. Those who answer correctly will receive an instant prize: a tea Coaster Plate.
Among the invited guests at the event were Int'l Environmental Activist Nayna Nishi and Bollywood playback singer Tanya Chanda, who also won a tea coaster in the competition.

On the occasion of International Coastal Cleanup Day, observed on September 20, various NGOs, college students from local institutions, and community volunteers participated in a beach cleaning drive along the coastline.
The event served as an awareness campaign with a special focus on the "Three R's" of environmental sustainability: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. These principles are fundamental to sustainable waste management and environmental conservation, aiming to minimize waste, conserve natural resources, and reduce pollution.
• Reduce encourages the use of fewer materials.
• Reuse promotes the repeated use of items, either in their original form or for different purposes.
• Recycle involves transforming waste materials into new products.
Notable participants included Sh. Pravin Choudhary and his team, Smt. Shirin Aggarwal and her team, and Int’l Environmental Activist- Nayna Nishi, who delivered a keynote address emphasizing the importance of the Three R’s in promoting a cleaner, more sustainable planet.
This initiative was supported by the Municipal Corporation and local waste management authorities, who provided personnel and logistical assistance to ensure the success of the cleanup drive.

Photos and videos from the event captured the active participation of volunteers at ground zero, showcasing the collective spirit and dedication towards protecting our coastal environment. These visuals reflect the energy, collaboration, and impact made during the beach cleanup.
