📢 Health for All! Rotary Club of Delhi's Mega Health Check-Up Camp 📢

On November 10th, the Rotary Club of Delhi, in partnership with Clove Dental and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC), organized a Mega Health Check-Up Camp in the slum area of Haiderpur. This initiative brought essential healthcare services, including dental and cancer screenings, to those who need them the most.

📅 On October 29, members of the Interact Club of Jeewan Jyoti Public School, Karawal Nagar sponsored by the Rotary Club of Delhi, made a heartwarming visit to Mata RamBeti Old Age Home. Our young volunteers spent quality time with the residents, sharing stories, laughter, and precious moments. From fun games to touching conversations, the day was filled with joy for both generations. It was a beautiful reminder of the value of companionship and respect for our elders.

🎉 October Highlights at Rotary Club of Delhi 🎉

🌸 Cervical Cancer Vaccination Awareness Campaign 🌸

In a continued effort to safeguard the health of young girls and raise awareness about cervical cancer, the Rotary Club of Delhi, under a global grant, organized an impactful Cervical Cancer Vaccination Awareness Campaigns in October
Jeewan Jyoti Public School, Karawal Nagar on 5th October; Mount Abu Public School, Rohini on 8th October; and St. Margaret School, Prashant Vihar on 15th October.

Our mission was to educate students, teachers, and parents about the importance of early vaccination in preventing cervical cancer, a disease that remains a major health risk for women worldwide.

We are grateful to Ms. Jyoti Arora, Principal-Mount Abu Public School; Ms. Simmi Bhatia, Principal-St. Margaret School; and Ms. Neha Basist, Principal-Jeewan Jyoti Public School; for their collaboration, as well as to all the parents and students who actively participated.

Together, we are taking strides to prevent cervical cancer and build a generation of informed, empowered individuals.
Let's keep raising awareness, spreading knowledge, and advocating for vaccination to create a safer tomorrow for our young girls!

🎉 Interact Clubs Installation! 🎉

The Rotary Club of Delhi is excited to announce the successful installations of three Interact Clubs this month.
Mahamaya Ballika Inter College on 4th October,
GD Goenka Model Town on 8th October, and GD Goenka High School, Gurugram on 23rd October.
These vibrant new clubs aim to inspire young students to become compassionate leaders and engaged community members through impactful projects and hands-on activities.

The Interact Clubs will spearhead initiatives around health awareness, environmental sustainability, and youth leadership and many more areas.

Students will gain insights into real-world issues and learn how they can contribute to a healthier, safer society.

We look forward to seeing the amazing impact these young leaders will create!

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

It is with a heavy heart and profound grief that we share the sad news of the passing of our respected Vice Admiral K.K. Kohli, who left for his heavenly abode on 14th October 2024.

The cremation will be held on Wednesday, 16th October 2024 at 4pm at BRAR SQUARE, Delhi Cantonment, New Delhi.

Our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.
