बिहार के मुंगेर ज़िले के सराधी गाँव में पली-बढ़ी तान्या — 2017 में तान्या Edu-Leader Fellowship से जुड़ी । रूढ़ियों से लड़ीं, शादी को टाला, और पढ़ाई को चुना। आज वो अपने गाँव की 22+ लड़कियों की प्रेरणा हैं — जो उन्हीं की राह पर चलना चाहती हैं।

She grew up in Saradhi — a Naxal-affected village in Munger, Bihar — where her father once worried whether she could travel 14 kilometres to the next town. 𝐼𝑛 2017, 𝑇𝑎𝑛𝑦𝑎 𝑗𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑑 𝑖-𝑆𝑎𝑘𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑚'𝑠 𝐄𝐝𝐮-𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬ℎ𝐢𝐩 — 𝑓𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑛𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑠, 𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑦𝑒𝑑 𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑎𝑔𝑒, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑒𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛. Today, she has become an inspiration for 22+ girls from her own village.

क्या होता है, जब ज़मीनी हौसला मिलता है Coporate Vision से : Hughes में एक यादगार दिन।

Hughes Communications India ने छोटी और कोमल के लिए अपने दरवाज़े और दिल दोनों खोले। यह देखना एक शक्तिशाली क्षण था कि कैसे पूरे भारत के Hughes ऑफिस से 25 से अधिक टीम सदस्य — ऑनलाइन और ऑफलाइन दोनों माध्यम से — उनकी बदलाव की कहानियां सुनने के लिए हमारे साथ जुड़े।

छोटी और कोमल के लिए, यह दौरा सिर्फ एक मुलाकात से बढ़कर था; यह एक नई दुनिया की ओर खुलने वाली खिड़की थी। कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय में घूमना और Hughes के professionals से उनकी आकांक्षाओं को नई उड़ान मिली है, खास तौर पर वहाँ पर कार्यरत women leaders से मिलकर ।

सपनों को मिला 'स्माइल' का साथ: 15 किशोरियों को मिली स्कॉलरशिप!

हमें यह बताते हुए बेहद खुशी हो रही है कि i-Saksham और Smile Foundation ने साथ मिलकर एक नई शुरुआत की है!

शिक्षा की राह में आने वाली आर्थिक बाधाओं को दूर करने के हमारे मिशन के तहत, और की 15 होनहार किशोरियों को 'Smile Foundation Scholarship' के लिए चुना गया है।

ग्रामीण भारत में कई बार आर्थिक तंगी के कारण लड़कियों को पढ़ाई और घर की जरूरतों में से किसी एक को चुनना पड़ता है। 45 आवेदनों में से चुनी गई इन 15 लड़कियों को अब अपने सपनों को पूरा करने के लिए पूरा सहयोग मिलेगा, जिसमें शामिल हैं:
> ट्यूशन और कोचिंग फीस
>किताबें और शिक्षण सामग्री
>लाइफ स्किल्स (Life Skills) और व्यक्तित्व विकास सत्र

यह सिर्फ़ आर्थिक मदद नहीं है, बल्कि इन बेटियों पर जताया गया एक 'भरोसा' है। इसका असर अभी से दिखने लगा है—स्कूल में उपस्थिति बढ़ रही है और सबसे बड़ी बात, परिवारों का अपनी बेटियों की शिक्षा पर विश्वास और मजबूत हुआ है। हमारे समुदायों में "मुस्कान" बिखेरने के लिए Smile Foundation का दिल से शुक्रिया। आइए, इनको बधाई दें!

आज भारत की पहली महिला शिक्षिका, क्रांतिज्योति सावित्रीबाई फुले का जन्मदिन है। यह दिन सिर्फ़ एक तारीख नहीं, बल्कि हम सब के लिए एक 'त्योहार' है।
सोचिए, अगर सावित्री माँ ने उस समय हार मान ली होती, तो क्या आज हमारी बच्चियाँ स्कूल का बस्ता उठा पातीं? उन्होंने अकेले समाज के ताने सहे, ताकि आज की बेटी 'सक्षम' बन सके।

i-Saksham की हज़ारों Edu-leaders आज उन्हीं की मशाल थामे बिहार के गाँवों में शिक्षा की अलख जगा रही हैं। हर वो लड़की जो पढ़ रही है या पढ़ा रही / सीखा रही है, उसमें सावित्रीबाई की झलक है।
