The dissemination workshop on ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ญ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐ฉ๐ก๐จ๐ญ๐จ๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ญ๐๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ progressed with a detailed presentation of the report by Shri. Himanshu Chawla, Head โ Regulatory & Research, Power Foundation of India, and Md Tariq Habib, Manager, Climate Policy Initiative - India, outlining actionable pathways for scaling Agriphotovoltaics in Indiaโspanning regulatory frameworks, tariff design, and institutional mechanisms.
This was followed by a panel discussion on โ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐ฉ๐ก๐จ๐ญ๐จ๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ญ๐๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐: ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐งโ bringing together Girja Shankar Niranjan, Vice President, BSES Rajdhani Power Limited; Abhishek Shastri, Energy Advisor, GIZ India; Arunendra Kumar Tiwari, Fellow, Electricity & Renewable Division, TERI; Shri Saurabh Chandra Rai, Manager, Climate Policy Initiative - India; Ms. Shubhashree Chakraborty, Associate Director, NSEFI - National Solar Energy Federation of India; Shri Sapan Thapar, Associate Professor, TERI School of Advanced Studies; and Shri Sandeep Puri, Director, Alpasso Industries Pvt. The discussion reflected a strong convergence of perspectives on regulatory challenges, utility integration, financing pathways, and strategies for mainstream adoption, grounded in both policy insights and operational realities.
The workshop continued with a field visit to the SAEV PVT LTD AgriPV farm, offering participants hands-on exposure to real-world implementation, effectively bridging the gap between policy frameworks and on-ground innovation.
