The new Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric feels like a glimpse into where mobility is headed - a space where performance, technology, and environmental responsibility are no longer separate conversations.

For me, what stands out is how the automobile industry is slowly redefining progress: cleaner production, smarter engineering, and design choices that acknowledge the environmental cost of movement.

Cars are evolving from being just machines of aspiration to becoming tools of transition toward more conscious mobility.

The Greener Earth Foundation[] proudly participated in Mumbai Climate Week[
], hosted by Project Mumbai[] under the leadership of Shishir Joshi[]. We extend heartfelt thanks for the platform.

We showcased “Captured Earth,” created with Godrej Design Lab[] for Conscious Collective 2025, a piece made of 15,000 bottle caps, symbolising the urgent plastic crisis - predicting more plastic than fish by 2050.

Our Tethered Cap Mandate, aiming for policy-led design changes to cut plastic waste and boost circularity, gained momentum as we connected with leaders like Dia Mirza[] and global advocates. It was inspiring to stand alongside passionate changemakers, and we’re energised to further this crucial mission.

The event connected us with thousands of visitors and global partners who resonated with our vision. Our campaign is dedicated to driving tangible change in how plastic bottles are designed in India - pushing for tethered caps that stay with bottles, ensuring recyclability and reducing waste.

We were thrilled to engage with supporters across sectors, and the energy we gained fuels our next steps toward a sustainable future.

| Every winter, Delhi reminds us that clean air is not a seasonal issue, it’s a full-time emergency.

At Godrej Properties’ Breathe A Little Deeper initiative, I saw a future that isn’t just conceptual, it’s engineered. Godrej South Estate isn’t relying on awareness alone, its outdoor MFFA units clean 7,000 cubic feet of air per minute, and its CTFA systems keep indoor air fresh, oxygen-rich, and healthier to breathe.

This is what proactive environmental design looks like. Clean air isn’t an individual battle, it’s a shared responsibility. When developers prioritise human wellbeing, cities become healthier, and breathing deeply becomes a right, not a privilege.
