Climate Change Campus Ambassador 2026–27 – Announcement
On the occasion of National Youth Day (Swami Vivekananda Jayanti), Dharti International Foundation is delighted to announce the results of the Climate Change Campus Ambassador 2026–27 program.
We are happy to share that Ankit Raj, PhD Scholar (1st Year), School of Sanskrit and Indic Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, has been selected as Climate Change Campus Ambassador 2026–27.
Ankit Raj has completed his M.Sc. in Ayurveda Biology, an NEP-based interdisciplinary programme integrating Ayurveda, modern biology, and environmental studies. His academic journey reflects a strong commitment to environmental protection, sustainability, and holistic ecological understanding.
Role & Responsibilities as Climate Change Campus Ambassador
As a Climate Change Campus Ambassador of Dharti International Foundation, Ankit Raj will:
lead climate action initiatives on campus
organize plantation drives and eco-awareness activities
engage in wildlife and biodiversity conservation programs
support pond and river rejuvenation campaigns
coordinate symposiums, seminars, and workshops on climate change
promote youth participation in environmental responsibility
The responsibilities of a Climate Change Campus Ambassador are multifaceted, involving activities related to climate change awareness, wildlife protection, conservation programs, plantation, sustainability initiatives, and academic collaborations.
