💔 Bulldozer Action in a Delhi Refugee Camp | 19 September 2026

Today, several Hindu refugee families in Delhi faced a devastating situation as their homes were demolished, leaving families without shelter.

Even the toilets built by Hindu Samman Foundation (HSF) for these families were demolished.

For families who have already faced displacement and uncertainty, losing their homes and basic facilities creates another serious crisis. Many are now struggling with where they will stay and how they will manage their daily needs.

This is exactly why HSF wants to develop a Low-Cost Housing Project for Hindu refugee families living in Delhi — so families can have a safer, more stable place to live with basic dignity.

Jamna Ji’s family had been using a temporary toilet covered with cloth, with very little privacy or safety.

Today, HSF provided the family with a proper toilet-cum-bathroom. 🙏🏠

Three years ago, Nanji Thakor Ji and his family came to India from Pakistan, hoping for safety, dignity and a better future. ❤️

Today, their long-awaited dream of having a permanent home has finally come true. 🏡❤️

Today, Hindu Samman Foundation has handed over a new home to Nanji Ji’s family—a place they can finally call their own. 🏠

A home is more than four walls. It is security, stability and a foundation for rebuilding life with dignity.

🏡 A Home To Call Their Own — After Generations of Waiting ❤️

For Ram Chand Ji’s family, owning a permanent home once felt like a distant dream.

Today, that dream finally became a reality. ❤️

Hindu Samman Foundation (HSF) has provided the family with a plot completely free of cost and constructed a permanent home for them — giving them a place they can finally call their own.

The new home includes 2 rooms, a kitchen, hall, toilet & bathroom, electrical fittings, lights and fans. 🏠

But this is not just about four walls and a roof.

For this family, it means security, dignity, stability and a fresh beginning. ❤️

And their journey doesn’t end here.

For several months, Ram Chand Ji’s family has been requesting employment support from HSF. With a stable source of income, the family hopes to become more self-reliant and build a better future.

We hope that, with the support of our community, we can help them take this next step towards self-employment and financial stability. 🙏

They borrowed money just to offer us a cold drink. 💔🙏

When Hindu Samman Foundation (HSF) visited Amraram Ji’s family in Rajasthan, we were welcomed with a simple cold drink.

But there was something behind that gesture that stayed with us.

The family was already struggling financially, yet they borrowed money because they wanted to welcome their guests with dignity and respect. 🙏

Amraram Ji, his wife Raku Devi Ji, and their three daughters are living through extremely difficult circumstances.

Raku Devi Ji is suffering from a medical condition and, according to the family, has been vomiting blood. They told us that significant amounts have already been spent on treatment, leaving the family with approximately ₹2–3 lakh in debt.

Their youngest daughter, Mamta Devi Ji, is unable to speak and needs proper medical assessment, treatment and continued care.

The family also faces serious documentation challenges. They currently have limited documentation, including LTV, and according to the family, their children are not attending school.

And despite all of this, their biggest dream is not complicated.

🏠 A permanent home where their daughters can live safely, with dignity and privacy.

This visit also made us think about the broader role of seva in society.

Can more charitable resources be directed towards healthcare, education, housing and rehabilitation for families facing genuine hardship?

This is not a question against worship or temples. It is a call to think about how faith and seva can exist together.

🏠 HSF’s Next Housing Initiative

HSF has already paid an advance towards 4 bighas of land in Phalodi, Rajasthan, for our second housing project.

Around 50% of the required land funding is still needed.

After the land purchase, additional support will be required to construct permanent homes for families who are living in vulnerable conditions.

For Amraram Ji’s family, the immediate needs include:

🏠 Permanent housing
🏥 Medical assistance for Raku Devi Ji and Mamta Devi Ji
💰 Support towards medical debt
🙏 Sustainable financial/pension assistance
📚 Education and documentation support for the children

A cold drink may have been a small gesture, but it revealed something much bigger — their dignity remained intact even when their circumstances were not.

Seva is not only about giving money.
It is about helping a family stand on its feet again. 🙏❤️

A New Beginning for Ram Kumar Ji’s Family ❤️

Almost a year ago, HSF met Ram Kumar Ji, his wife Aarti Ji, and their four children while the family was going through a difficult financial situation.

Today, their story has taken an important step forward. ❤️

With support from the Lakhani Family, Hindu Samman Foundation has provided Ram Kumar Ji with a mobile cover cart, giving him an opportunity to start his own small business and earn a regular income for his family.

This is more than just a cart. It is an opportunity to work independently, earn with dignity, and build a more secure future for his children. 🙏

❤️ Our heartfelt thanks to the Lakhani Family for making this employment support possible and helping this family move towards self-reliance.

However, one major need still remains. 🏠

The family is currently living in a makeshift home with very limited privacy and needs support to build a bamboo home.

At HSF, we believe that meaningful support should go beyond immediate relief. Wherever possible, our aim is to help families become self-reliant, secure, and able to rebuild their lives with dignity.

Today, Ram Kumar Ji has taken one step towards self-employment.

HSF provided Sukhdev Bhai with a mobile cover cart to help him start his own business. Today, he is working independently and earning a good income for his family. 🙏❤️

❤️ A Toilet. A Bathroom. A Basic Right to Dignity.

Today, Hindu Samman Foundation returned to the home of Jamna Ji and Krishan Lal Ji — a family many of you may already recognize from our earlier videos.

HSF has supported this family before. 🏠
They received a bamboo home, and Krishan Lal Ji was provided an e-rickshaw for employment support. 🛺

But one basic need was still missing — a proper toilet and bathroom.

For the family, this had become a daily struggle. They had managed with a temporary toilet covered with cloth, offering very little privacy, safety, or dignity.

Today, that has changed. ❤️

A proper toilet-cum-bathroom has now been provided to Jamna Ji’s family, giving them a safer, cleaner and more dignified living environment.

🙏 Heartfelt thanks to the Lakhani Family for supporting the construction of this bathroom for Krishan Lal Ji and Jamna Behan’s family. Your contribution will provide lasting comfort, hygiene and dignity to the family.

But our support for this family does not end here.

Jamna Ji is currently facing difficulty walking and needs medical support and proper care. ❤️
