15 HOUSES. 15 FAMILIES. ONE NEW BEGINNING.

For 15 Pakistani Hindu refugee families in Jodhpur, this Independence Day meant something deeply personal.

On 15th August, these families received the keys to their new, fully constructed homes — completely free of cost. 🏠❤️

For years, they had lived without the security of a permanent home. Today, they have a place they can finally call their own.

For them, Independence Day was not only about celebrating the freedom of our nation. It was about experiencing freedom in their own lives — freedom from uncertainty, insecurity, and the fear of having nowhere to go. 🇮🇳

At Hindu Samman Foundation, we believe that a dignified life begins with basic security: a safe home, a stable future, and the confidence to build a better tomorrow.

These 15 homes were made possible through the generosity of our donors, the dedication of our ground team, and the support of everyone who believes that service should create real change on the ground.

🙏 Our heartfelt gratitude to our main donors — Sh. Ghanshyam Ji, Smt. Jayshree Govind Ji (Gujrati), and all the disciples of Sant Shri Hirdaram Ji Maharaj — for supporting this Low-Cost Housing Project for Pakistani Hindu refugee families.

Today, we remember.

In 1947, Bharat was partitioned. Borders changed—but the pain of millions of displaced families did not disappear with those borders.

Even today, persecuted Hindus in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and elsewhere continue to remind us of an unfinished civilizational responsibility.

On **अखंड भारत स्मृति दिवस**, Hindu Samman Foundation dedicates our new anthem—

**“आत्म-बोध — The Self-Awakening”**

—to every persecuted Hindu who was forced to leave their home, lost their dignity or security, or continues to struggle for a safer future.

What do India’s changing FCRA regulations mean for Hindu NGOs?

India has every right to regulate foreign funding, prevent misuse of charitable organizations, and take action against illegal or coercive religious conversions.

But there is another question that deserves serious discussion:

**Could increasingly strict regulations also make it harder for genuine, legally operating Hindu charitable organizations to serve vulnerable communities?**

In this video, we take a closer look at the changing FCRA framework, foreign funding regulations, religious conversion, and the challenges faced by organizations working on the ground.

Because the reality is simple:

A hungry family needs food.
A homeless family needs shelter.
A struggling parent needs livelihood support.
A child needs education.
A vulnerable family needs dignity and security.

Laws and policies are important—but society also has a responsibility to build strong institutions that can respond to these challenges.

The ongoing **UGC issue and protests** have raised serious questions across Hindu society.

People are angry. People are frustrated. People are asking questions.

But beyond the protest, one question deserves our attention:

**What happens when the protest ends?**

A protest can bring people onto the streets.
A hashtag can bring an issue into public discussion.
But lasting change requires something more — **organization, unity, institutions, and people willing to stand together consistently.**

Hindu Samman Foundation is a **non-political Hindu organization** working on the principle that Hindus should stand for one another beyond **caste, region, language, and political affiliation.**

Our work is not limited to social media.

From supporting vulnerable Hindu families to humanitarian seva and building stronger community networks, the focus is on **turning concern into action on the ground.**

Because if we only come together when there is a controversy, our unity will always be temporary.

**The UGC protest may end. The hashtags may disappear. But the need for a stronger and more organized Hindu society will remain.**
