In 1918, a Sikh soldier in Baghdad remembered a hymn from childhood.
It told him exactly where to look.
He found a shrine that had been standing since 1511, built by the people of Baghdad in Guru Nanak Dev Ji's memory, guarded by a Muslim family for generations.
Nobody knew it existed.
This is the full story of the Baba Nanak Shrine — the history, the people and what was lost in 2003.

The question isn’t what happened in history.
It’s this:-
What does Baisakhi mean right now?
And be honest-
Not the answer you post,
The one you actually live with.

Perpetual State Of Precariousness

A community of over 200,000, have been reduced to fewer than 100 individuals. Their struggle is invisible to the world, as they face harassment, physical assault and kidnapping for ransom.

They are foreigners in both their homeland and their places of refuge.

The 2020 attack on the Gurudwara Har Rai Sahb in Kabul, which killed 25, is often cited by community members as the "final straw" that broke their resolve to stay. Survivors describe a life of "constant anxiety" and a "heartbroken" attachment to a homeland that no longer feels safe.

"If something brings you pain, there is only so much you can tolerate... Agar jaan hai, toh Afghan hai." - Mr. Khalsa, Afghan Sikh Leader.

Save this for your history library.

All the people who had to leave their homes, their parents and move to another country, not knowing anyone there, trying to forge a legacy while fighting all those unknown battles, Chardikala to you all, you have done great work, given great sacrifices and made your folks back home proud.

This is a compilation from phenomenal instagram gallery. All the above clips belong to him solely and I have no ownership towards it.

The wondrous guy singing this song by is , I love his covers and music.

Also a comeback reel from my side, it's been two rough months for me and my family, had so much planned but it was all Waheguru and it's divinity that nothing can be planned if it's not in their will.

I know you all will continue supporting me 🙏🏼
Love, health and Chardikala ♥️

Made for those who like meaning without noise 🌻

This 2026 Calendar was created to sit quietly with you throughout the year. It is meant to be lived with, not merely used to check dates.

Each month carries Gurbani lines, paired with calm, contemplative artwork. The familiar Gregorian calendar is thoughtfully woven with Punjabi months, with dates written in Punjabi, creating a gentle rhythm of time.

All major Sikh moments like Gurupurab, Guru Gaddi Divas and Shaheedi Dihada are intentionally honoured.
Sangrand, Masseya, Puranmashi are also aligned with the Nanakshahi solar system.

Available in three versions -
• Desk Calendar — ₹270 |
• Wall Calendar — ₹220 |
• Collector Box (Limited)
Desk + Wall calendar, Badges, Bookmarks & Fridge Magnets designed as a gift-worthy set -- ₹499 |

This calendar is not meant to replace what already exists.
It exists for those who were quietly looking for this kind of calm.
