Education is still largely an unfulfilled dream for 250 million children who have been to school but cannot read or write. As the world begins to tackle this massive learning crisis, getting children with disabilities and other disadvantages into school and learning requires focused and simultaneous action. Why is education important for disabled?

It allows the students to enjoy the education and gain confidence due to individual learning. For the personal growth and development of the special children, it is important for all of them to receive proper education. The disability cases could include emotional, mental, physical or developmental.

The need for special education in India can be traced back to pre-independent India. There are many examples in Indian history that show that people with disabilities had educational opportunities and that disability did not come in the way of learning. ❤️➡️like➡️share➡️comment🔥🚀

With a purpose of integrating the physically and mentally challenged people in the society as equal members, the government of India has brought about a scheme known as Integrated Education for Disabled Children (IEDC).

Education is the most important aspect of a human regardless of their origin. It will be cherished for the whole life, and the only possession which remains with our name even after our last breath.

The efforts of the NGOs which help in the betterment of the society is very crucial.
Such initiatives should be encouraged by showing our involvement and doing the best we can.
And the least we can do is to spread awareness about it. As every step counts.

Education is a fundamental human right that should be available to all citizens. Nonetheless, many people are unable to meet even the most basic requirements in this area, and much of this can be linked to educational discrimination. To be concise, discrimination in education is the practice of denying specific children the right to basic education on the account of their caste, class, race, ethnicity, or disabilities. No child should suffer any sort of discrimination at a place of education, and here is how governments and institutions should look to ensure this, in accordance with the UNESCO Convention Against Discrimination in Education:
• There is a need to make the different tiers of education accessible to all, with greater emphasis on ensuring that each child gets access to a higher education.
• Education must be geared toward the complete evolution of the individual personality as well as the reinforcement of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
• A uniform level of education must be ensured across all public institutions, and all individuals who have previously missed out on a higher education should be offered the opportunity to complete their studies.

In a world where we crave pizza and burgers, did it ever occur to you that there are some for whom a few grains of rice can be a blessing?
Proper nutritional requirements are of immense importance in growing children. Its benefits include improvement of their cognitive abilities helping them better function in school activities.
Over 33 lakh children in India are malnourished. They don't have access to nutritious food. Edukul will be conducting a food donation drive to help such underprivileged children on 13th July, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm, in Jammu. Our organization's main aim is to provide education to these disadvantaged children and also cater to their other basic needs.

Kids have access to screens all around them. Research shows that the average 8- to 10-year-old spends almost 8 hours a day with a variety of media, and older children and teenagers spend around 11 hours per day with media. That time adds up, and young people are spending more time with technology than they do in school. How Adults can help?
Parents can start by ensuring children under two don’t use screens. They can also play along with children to include face-to-face interactions with technology, and make sure that tech doesn’t interfere for opportunities to play.

Adults can help make sure kids learn about computer science and IT as part of technology use to give them opportunities for a bright tech future.
