In a significant step towards strengthening rural healthcare, the Swami Vivekananda Foundation, with the support of ONGC CSR, donated a state-of-the-art Ultrasound (USG) Machine to Community Health Centre (CHC), Raipur.
The programme was graced by Hon'ble Health Minister Shri Subodh Uniyal as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests included Rajya Sabha MP Shri Naresh Bansal, MP Maharani Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah, MLA Shri Umesh Sharma, CDO Dr. Abhinav Shah, CMO Dr. Manoj Sharma, Shri Neeraj Kumar Sharma (CGM, ONGC), Shri Vishal Sharma (In-charge, CSR, ONGC), Shri Arun Singh (GM-HR, ONGC), along with hundreds of local residents and hospital staff.
On the occasion, Dr. Geetika Joshi, Radiologist, highlighted that the installation of the ultrasound machine will greatly benefit patients, especially those from remote villages, who previously had to travel to other centres for ultrasound services. The new facility will ensure timely diagnosis, reduce financial and travel burdens, and improve access to quality healthcare.
Health Minister Shri Subodh Uniyal said:
"Healthcare should be accessible to every citizen, regardless of where they live. This ultrasound machine is a meaningful addition to CHC Raipur and reflects the positive impact of partnerships between the government and responsible corporate organizations like ONGC."
CDO Dr. Abhinav Shah said:
"The availability of advanced diagnostic equipment at the community level will strengthen public healthcare services and significantly improve patient care. We appreciate the efforts of the Swami Vivekananda Foundation and ONGC CSR in making this possible."
