Samastipur is a NGO Established in 1974. Our basic motto is to provide "Free Services to Millions of Shiva Devotees (Kanwariyas) who travel bare footed from Sultangang (Bihar) to Devghar to pour Ganga Jal on a Joytirling Baba Baidyanath". We do not take any grant from Govt. We have a huge Dharamshala (Approx. 3000 Sq.Mtr) at Tonapathar, Abrakha, Dist. Banka (Bihar), perhaps the biggest Dharamshala
in the 105 KM Holly route. We provide following free services; 1. Medicated Hot Water for resting the foot, 2. Sikanji/Sarbat 4. Namkin Sattu 5. Mitha Sattu 6. Breakfast 7. Lunch/Dinner 8. Tea 9. All type of Medical Services (Free Medicine) 10. Ambulance 11. Lal Daba 12. Marham Patti 13. 24 Hrs. Continuous Public Announcement using Computer 14. Night Stay 15. Toilet 16. Bath. All our services are free of cost, we do not demand any thing from anyone. Samitti have around 10,000 members all over India, who contributes generously for all the free sewas. Some Kanwariyas also donate. For the Local poor children, we run a school also, where we provide all study materials free of cost. We provide free first-aid services to local villagers and for emergency we provide Ambulance. All the donations to the Samitti have the Income Tax Exemption.
