Pagirvu Phase I was a heartfelt community service initiative organized by the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy with the aim of supporting families in need through the distribution of essential grocery supplies.

Inspired by the belief that hope is packed with every essential, the initiative focused on easing the burden of daily necessities by providing thoughtfully assembled grocery kits to underserved families. More than just a donation drive, பகரிவு reflected the club's commitment to compassion, dignity, and community welfare, reminding us that even the simplest act of giving can make a meaningful difference in someone's life.

Through this initiative, the club reaffirmed its dedication to serving society with empathy, ensuring that every contribution brought not only nourishment but also hope and reassurance to those who needed it most.

Skills Lab – Canva Edition was an engaging learning session organized by the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy, aimed at equipping participants with the essential skills to create impactful designs using Canva.

The session was facilitated by Rtr. Barath Kumar, District Director - Creatives, who introduced participants to Canva's powerful tools and features while covering the fundamentals of graphic design. Participants also explored colour combinations, typography, layouts, and key design principles through practical demonstrations and interactive discussions, gaining a deeper understanding of creating visually appealing and effective designs.

By combining creativity with hands-on learning, Skills Lab – Canva Edition empowered participants with the confidence and knowledge to transform their ideas into compelling visuals for personal, professional, and Rotaract initiatives.

Malarum Thaimai was a healthcare awareness initiative jointly organized by the Rotaract Clubs of Coimbatore Gaalaxy and VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science, dedicated to educating college students about Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and the significance of vaccination in preventing HPV-related diseases.

Organized in observance of Rotary's Maternal and Child Health Month, the session created a platform for open conversations on preventive healthcare, early intervention, and the importance of informed choices. Participants gained valuable insights into HPV, its impact, and the role of vaccination in safeguarding long-term health through an engaging and informative awareness session.

By encouraging awareness, breaking misconceptions, and promoting preventive healthcare, Malarum Thaimai reaffirmed the commitment of both clubs towards building a healthier, better-informed, and empowered community.

Rotalin – Phase I was a heartfelt service initiative organized jointly by the Rotaract Clubs of Coimbatore Gaalaxy and PSGCAS to support children living with Type 1 Diabetes. Conducted at the Mathuram Diabetes Centre, the initiative focused on donating insulin needles, helping ease a vital part of their daily medical care.

Driven by compassion and the spirit of Service Above Self, Rotalin sought to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young beneficiaries by supporting their healthcare needs while raising awareness about Type 1 Diabetes. Through this initiative, both clubs reaffirmed their commitment to creating a healthier, more caring, and inclusive community—one act of service at a time.

The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy proudly hosted the Inter-District Youth Exchange (IDYE) for Rotaractors from RI District 3131 (Pune), fostering meaningful connections, cultural exchange, and lasting friendships. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for delegates from Pune to
experience the warmth and hospitality of Coimbatore while engaging with fellow Rotaractors through interactive sessions, networking, and fellowship.

As part of their visit, the delegates also graced Take Off 2026, the DRR Installation and Leadership & Learning Seminar, celebrating the commencement of a new Rotary year alongside Rotaractors from across Coimbatore and Palakkad. It celebrated the true spirit of Rotaract by bringing together young leaders from different districts to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and build relationships that extend beyond borders.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the delegates from RI District 3131 for making the exchange memorable. Here's to strengthening inter-district bonds and creating lasting impact through service and fellowship.

Gaalaxy's Gambit marked the 16th Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy, celebrating a proud transition of leadership and the beginning of a new chapter of service. The ceremony witnessed the formal installation of Rtn. Rtr. Jayakishore as President for the Rotary Year 2026–27, succeeding Rtr. IPP. Srivarshan, while bringing together Rotarians, Rotaractors, alumni, and distinguished guests.

The occasion also marked the installation of the 2026–27 Board of Directors, induction of new members, recognition of parents, and the signing of MoUs to strengthen future collaborations. Filled with fellowship and renewed commitment, Gaalaxy's Gambit set the stage for another year of impactful service, leadership, and lasting change.
