Balvatika Graduation Day

The first-ever Graduation Ceremony for the tiny tots of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Educare, Chromepet, who successfully completed their Balvatika III classes and are stepping into Class I from the next academic year, was celebrated in a grand and memorable manner. The day marked not only the culmination of one joyful journey but also the beginning of another, filled with promise and potential.

Held on 28th June 2026, the ceremony was graced by respected guests, faculty members, and proud parents. The atmosphere was vibrant with love, reverence, and celebration. The event was further elevated by the presence of Sri K. Senthil Kumar, Founder and Managing Director of Orbit Edutech Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, a renowned educationist who has guided numerous Principals of Engineering Colleges across India, as the Chief Guest.

The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp of love by the dignitaries, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge. Senior students then filled the hall with divine energy by chanting Vedic hymns. Following this, Ms. N. Vedhanayagi, Principal-in-charge, delivered the welcome address and shared a beautifully composed poem that captured the emotions and expressions of the children from the start of the year to its successful conclusion. The stage came alive with a kaleidoscope of colours and joy, as the children enthralled the audience with their captivating subject‑based and values‑based presentations

Correspondent Sri S. Loganathan addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of uttering “Sairam” as a reminder of divinity in daily life, and spoke about the value of selfless service as the true essence of education. He expressed gratitude to parents for their support in initiatives such as the subsidized education program and the Nithya Narayana Seva—the free noon meals scheme for primary children. He urged parents to continue their involvement to help the school progress to greater heights.

He highlighted the various service activities undertaken by the school for the non-teaching staff and shared how the institution extended its support to all staff members during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Chief Guest then delivered an inspiring speech, sharing personal experiences and observations about the school. He praised the holistic approach and spiritual foundation nurtured at SSSIE, remarking that while it may be easy to train engineering students, shaping the tender minds of kindergarten children requires extraordinary dedication. He lauded the teachers as the true pillars of the institution and expressed admiration for a school that runs not for profit but on the basis of human values. He highlighted that while schools often have temples, this school itself radiates the sanctity of a temple. He concluded with heartfelt wishes, expressing his desire to witness the graduation of these tiny tots once again when they complete their Class XII here.

The most awaited moment arrived when our little heroes walked through the assembly hall passage, dressed in ceremonial graduation gowns and hats, radiating joy and innocence. Each child proudly received their Graduation Certificate, marking the successful completion of Pre-Primary classes up to Balvatika III. The sight of their beaming faces filled the hearts of parents, teachers, and guests with pride and happiness.

A unique vote of thanks was delivered by Headmistress Mrs. K. Poongothai, whose creative “ABC song” highlighted the nature, kindness, and qualities of the graduating students in a delightful manner. The ceremony concluded in an atmosphere of joy, reverence, and celebration, leaving behind cherished memories. Mrs. Kirthika, PRT, gracefully compered the entire sequence of events. Assistant Headmistress Mrs. Vijayalakshmi, together with all the primary staff, coordinated to ensure the grand success of the program.

Parents enthusiastically captured joyful moments of their children at the specially arranged Graduation Day selfie point. It was truly a special day—a day of achievements, blessings, and new beginnings. The Graduation Day will forever remain etched in the hearts of the students, parents, and teachers as a milestone in the journey of education at SSSIE. Sairam.

Mahashivaratri Celebration 2026

Sairam. With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Mahashivaratri was celebrated with deep devotion and fervour at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Educare, Chromepet on 15th and 16th February 2026. The sacred observance commenced with Lingabhishekam, accompanied by the grand chanting of the Ekadasa Rudra Parayanam at 5:30 pm on 15th Feb. With profound spiritual yearning, students recited the supreme Sri Rudram Vedic Mantra — 11 repetitions of the 11 Anuvakas of Namakam, interwoven with one Anuvaka from Chamakam in sequence. More than 20 traditional materials were reverently offered during the Abhishekam to the Shiva Lingam of SSSIE and Nandi Bhagawan.

Following the continuous chanting of Sri Rudram, students rendered the mellifluous flute recital of “Bho Shambho…” Keerthana at the lotus feet of Bhagawan, followed by the soulful singing of the Lingashtakam. After the Maha Mangala Arathi, Correspondent Sri S. Loganathan praised the students’ energy and sincerity, noting how their chanting filled the entire campus with divine vibrations.

Parents and students then offered sacred Bilva leaves to the Shiva Lingam and received Pada Namaskar from Bhagawan. After partaking of the blessed Maha Shivaratri Prasadam, students continued their devotion through Akhanda Bhajan, keeping vigil throughout the night until 6:30 a.m. the next morning. Each group offered bhajans during their allotted slots, delighting Lord Sai Shiva with their heartfelt singing. The reverberant staff bhajan slot deeply inspired the students further. The Akhanda Bhajan concluded with Mangala Arathi, bringing the blissful celebration to a conclusion. Jai Sairam.

Pada Puja for Parents

Sairam. With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Pada Puja for the parents of Class X and XII students appearing for the CBSE Board Examinations was conducted on 1st February 2026 at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Educare, Chromepet. The programme began with the chanting of the sacred Siksha Valli mantra containing the great injunctions Matru Devo Bhava, Pitru Devo Bhava. Principal-in-charge Ms. Vedhanayagi welcomed the gathering, affirming that SSSIE embodies the Bharathiya culture of revering parents as God. With devotion and gratitude, students performed Pada Puja to their parents, washing their feet, applying Chandan and Kumkum, offering flowers and Akshata, performing Pradakshina around them chanting Sai Gayatri Mantra, and finally offering Sashtanga Namaskar. With hearts full of love, parents blessed their wards with Akshata, invoking success in examinations and a bright future in life

In his address, Correspondent Sri S. Loganathan shared his hostel experiences, explaining how the Gurukula system instills self-discipline that shapes character and leadership. He recalled his mother’s sacrifice in sending him to the hostel, which became a turning point in his life, and emphasized that such sacrifices by parents will bear fruit in their children’s future. He said, “My mother’s sacrifice made me a leader today. The same thing will happen to your ward as well.” He further assured, “The hostel life they are experiencing now, leaving away their parents and other family members, will speak tomorrow of their grand success.” He also shared the conviction of an alumnus who was ready to sacrifice his entire life to take care of his aged mother, declaring that only if he could serve her would he even consider marriage. Stressing Swami’s teaching, he remarked that students who chase only high marks often fail in life, while those who earn good remarks are assured of success, as Bhagawan says: “Care not for marks but for remarks.” He admired the sanctity of the institution’s location, filled with Vedic vibrations, and told that due to the Vedas continuously chanted at SSSIE and the nearby Veda Pata Shala, the whole area of Chromepet is developing like anything. He reminded parents that transformation is not only for children but equally for themselves, as Bhagawan always emphasized good parenting. The programme concluded with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan. Parents, along with their wards, took Pada Namaskar from Swami and departed with hearts filled with love, gratitude, and deep emotion, carrying the blessings of the day into their lives. Sairam.
