Objectives of the Project:
To educate the underprivileged, orphan, poor rural and slum children who are forbidden of education due to family and social reasons through sponsorship programme. To construct a home for the children especially the orphans, semi-orphan, underprivileged rural and slum children and provide food, shelter, education and all necessary support to sustain in their life. To provide tailoring skill training for the rural unemployed youth / women and guide them to find suitable job or self employment as livelihood support. To organize regular training for the women and youth on life skill, health education, short term skill training and organize them to form self help groups and promote entrepreneurs. To establish prayer cells , worship centers and provide counselling for spiritual growth. Legal Status

About the Organization:
The Love and Compassion Trust is a registered public charitable trust which was registered in the year 1995 by a group of likeminded, community oriented social thinkers who volunteered themselves to work for the development of the underprivileged sections of the society. In this process of developmental work, for the spiritual growth of the people, the founder has established a church in the name of Chennai Peace Assembly Church and conducts regular worship, provides counseling and spiritual guidance of the local people for the past 25 years. The love and compassion trust is working with the people under the following categories

In this context, as a chairman of the trust wish to declare that it s a non political, non-profitable, and public charitable organization rendering service to the poor and needy people. Volunteers for the Community Work
The trust has planted Churches in and around Chennai over the years and have been administering our churches under the Head Church which is located at No.22, Santhi Nagar Main Road, Gowrivakkam, Chennai-600073. The Church is named "CHENNAI PEACE ASSEMBLY" which is a registered body duly registered under the Trust Act in the name CHENNAI PEACE ASSEMBLY MISSION TRUST. At present we have 5 Pastors and all these pastors are financially supported by the offerings of the believers in their respective congregation to work for the social and spiritual growth of the people. A Total of 165 believers attend our church and about 160 children attend Sunday classes. Economic and Spiritual Conditions of Believers:
I request your kind help especially in praying for the following problems we face. Our believers I and are struggling hard to meet out basic necessities, as most of our congregation are laborers who fall under the category of average or below average. In spite of their spiritual growth, there is hardly any growth in their financial condition and therefore they are not able to support the church and other activities of the Church to meet the present needs of the social work activities. Previous Activities:
We have involved ourselves in relief work during any emergency / natural disaster over the years. Recently during the COVID-19 Lockdown, we served and helped people directly and indirectly affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. We were able to serve and provide food to 1,500 families last year. We have also offered help to people that were affected by Cyclone and Tsunami. We are also offering care and education to orphan and poor children for the past 25 years. Hundreds of children have been benefited and blessed through our organization. We offer continued help and support to orphan and poor children. About the Project - Child Development Program:
We are in the pursuit of constructing a Children’s Home to accommodate a minimum of 100 kids along with an educational tuition centre. We need regular sponsors of monthly support for 100 children to provide education for them until their University Studies and for their food, clothing and educational books/materials, etc., which will cost about €.30x100 = €3000 per month. All educational expenses have increased these days and many people find it hard to educate their children. There are numerous destitute people in many of the villages that we work in. We would love to help the children coming from very poor families that cannot afford to take care of their educational expenses and other basic needs. Love and Compassion Trust has taken much interest to shelter the orphan and poor children and provide education. In the beginning the orphanage was started with 13 children and now 23 children benefits through the orphanage. Due to the declaration of Lockdown all the children’s home are closed. The parents are struggling to accommodate their children as they are facing financial crisis. Even though the organization is finding financial issues, still we have not stopped supporting the children for their education and essential needs. About the Beneficiary:

Duration of the Project
The project would be continuous in nature and the proposed activities will take a minimum of three years from the date of approval and the fund release from your good self. Outcome of the Project
Large number of uneducated underprivileged women and youth will be getting benefit
Children who are forbidden of education will be educated and made them self-sustain
The unskilled and unemployed women and youth will get life and livelihood support
The women and youth will get skill training and regular source of income
