The 53rd AROI–ICRO SUN PG Teaching Program on Thoracic Malignancies, hosted at the Cancer Institute, Adyar, Chennai, was a resounding success.
With 110 students from across India,this course recorded the second-highest registration in the history of ICRO teaching programs, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for quality academic training in Radiation Oncology.
My heartfelt appreciation to our outstanding faculty for their insightful and engaging lectures, and sincere thanks to Dr. Priya Iyer and her dedicated team for their warm hospitality and impeccable organization.
Special congratulations to the ICRO team—Dr. Sarbani, Dr. Gautam, and Dr. Pooja—whose meticulous planning and tireless efforts ensured the success of this program.
A special note of gratitude to the AROI Tamil Nadu–Puducherry Chapter for their unwavering support and commitment, which played a vital role in making this event a grand success.
Together, we continue to strengthen academic excellence and inspire the next generation of Radiation Oncologists.
Dr Kaavya from HCG Bengaluru won
the first prize and Dr Bala Lakshmi from CMC Vellore got the Second Prize and they will be provided with free registration, accommodation & travel to AROICON 2026 @ Hyderabad.
