Sindhi Chamber of Commerce The Sindhi Chamber of Commerce was Inaugurated in 1988, by Bharat Ratna Late Shri C. Subramanian the Every nation is known through its institutions.

These institutions represent the vision of the Leaders and the values of the Nation. Similarly every community which constitutes the Nation establishes its institutions to contribute to the growth and development of Society. The Sindhi’s in Chennai have over the last 60 years since they have settled here been instrumental in establishing several Institutions – in the field of Education, Health, So

cial Welfare and Religion. The need for establishing a Chamber was felt primarily to provide a common platform for the community to meet and discuss its economic issues, provide a leadership opportunity to the youth and to dissipate business information and knowledge.

The Sindhi Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1987 and is now a 35 year old organization

With the tagline of "Prosperity through enterprise", the chamber promotes Entrepreneurship. The community is known to have produced successful business houses across the globe.

The chamber conducts bi-monthly Speaker meets and some very innovative initiatives like Factory visit etc

The conducts awards every alternative year to recognise
Emerging entrepreneurs and also felicitates
*Outstanding citizens every alternative year wherein the chamber honors sindhis who are achievers and have contributed immsely to society*

The membership strength stands at 350 active members & overall members are 550.
