🚀 Day 2 Highlights | Open House 2026 | NIE Mysuru (North Campus)

Day 2 of Open House 2026 at The National Institute of Engineering witnessed an outstanding showcase of prototypes and products developed by students from the North Campus as part of the Innovation & Design Thinking (IDT) Program 2025–26.

Students confidently presented their work, demonstrating creativity, technical expertise, and practical problem-solving through a diverse range of innovative prototypes and products. The event served as a valuable platform for interaction, evaluation, and knowledge sharing.

We extend our sincere gratitude to *Dr. Rohini Nagapadma, Principal, NIE*, for her continued support and encouragement. We also thank the esteemed jury members and faculty of NIE for their valuable time, thoughtful evaluation, and constructive feedback that enriched the learning experience for the students.

🚀 *Day 1 Highlights | Open House 2026 | NIE Mysuru (South Campus)*

Day 1 of *Open House 2026* at The National Institute of Engineering showcased an impressive range of student-built prototypes and products developed through the Innovation & Design Thinking (IDT) Program 2025–26.

The event provided a platform for students to demonstrate their work, receive valuable feedback, and engage with faculty members, jury members, and industry mentors. The quality of the prototypes and the dedication of the student teams reflected months of hard work and hands-on learning.

We were privileged to have an insightful interaction with Mr. R. Subrahmanyam, Former Secretary to Government of India (Higher Education & Social Justice) and CEO of Centre for Research in Schemes and Policies.

He interacted with faculty members, sharing valuable perspectives on enhancing critical thinking, improving learning outcomes, and the role of policy initiatives like CRISP in driving meaningful change in education.
