TREC-STEP Organized the GENIE project’s final dissemination Conference during 5th and 6th November, 2024, at Trichy, 291 CSO network members, women entrepreneurs, policy makers, funding agencies, successful women entrepreneurs participated in the Conference.
To encourage and motivate Women’s equal participation in Entrepreneurship, the Chief Guest
Ms. Delphine BRISSONNEAU, Senior Programme Manager, European Delegation to India and Bhutan, New Delphi
presented 10 women entrepreneurs working in Green/Sustainable areas, promoted by the CSO Network under TREC-STEP’s EU GENIE CSOs Project, with certificates and trophies.
8 Women focused CSOs will also be recognized for their excellent progress in women entrepreneurship promotion, under the EU GENIE Project.
These 10 women green enterprises and 8 CSOs are selected through a rigorous application process and by an Independent Jury of 3 experts from Management, Education and Gender Studies, areas.

European Expert from European Business and Innovation Centre Network and African expert from Tanzania Gender and Sustainable energy network (TANGSEN), participated along with series of expert from entrepreneurship, Government agencies, funding agencies.

TREC-STEP is organizing ‘National Master Class Conference on Gender, Innovation and Enterprise Promotion‘, on 5th and 6th November, 2024, at Courtyard by Marriot, Trichy. This event is organized as part of the European Union funded project of TREC-STEP, ‘GENIE (Gender Enabling Network of Innovation and Entrepreneurship) CSOs for Climate Venture’s', which supports women climate venture promotion through the women focused CSOs National Network.
The Conference will enable knowledge sharing and networking opportunities among 300 women entrepreneurs and Civil Society Organizations(CSOs) network members of EU GENIE Project, academia, funding agencies, policy makers and other stakeholders. Besides rich knowledge share sessions, Exhibition of Women micro-Eco /Sustainable ventures’ products will be organized to provide visibility for the women micro ventures.
