Reiyukai Education Foundation Leads Japan Education Center And Information (JECI) Center Expansion in Assam

The picture captures a pivotal moment as trainers and administrators from the Reiyukai Education Foundation take charge of deploying Japan Education Center And Information (JECI) centers across Assam. This collaboration, formalized in April 2025, marks a significant stride in enhancing educational opportunities in India’s North East. The Reiyukai team, known for its commitment to quality education, is working hand-in-hand with JECI to establish JECI skill development hubs, focusing on Japanese language training, cultural exchange, and industry-aligned programs for K-12 schools and higher education corridors.

Assam, with its strategic proximity to Bhutan and dynamic communities, is a perfect fit for this initiative. JECI centers, launching programs by August 2025, will provide students with innovative curricula, including the Active Learning Student Exchange Program, Swachh Bharat-inspired cleanliness practices, EJU skills, satellite centers for Japanese universities overseen by JECI in India, and training in quality basics, Japanese language, and SSW. Trainers are equipping local educators with Japanese methodologies, while administrators ensure smooth deployment across districts like Guwahati, Bongaigaon, Jorhat, and Silchar.

This partnership promises to bridge India and Japan, fostering a skilled workforce and cultural understanding. With the Reiyukai team’s expertise, Assam is poised to become a model for educational excellence, empowering thousands of students with global competencies.
