HAPPY 8TH FOUNDATION DAY GREETINGS TO ALL THE BKSA MEMBERS, WELL-WISHERS, AND SUPPORTERS!

Today, September 21st, 2025, marks the 8th Foundation Day of the Bokakhat Karbi Students Association (BKSA), established on September 21st, 2017.

🏛️ FOUNDING LEGACY

The Bokakhat Karbi Students Association was founded with great vision and dedication by a collective of students from:
- JDSG College, Bokakhat.

The historic foundation ceremony took place at the Natya Mandir Auditorium Hall, Bokakhat, Assam, under the distinguished presence of Mr. Semson Teron, President KSA, and other esteemed office bearers.

Today, the Bokakhat Karbi Students' Association paid heartfelt condolence through a candlelight vigil at Sports Pavilion, JDSG College Bokakhat to mourn the untimely demise of legendary singer Late Zubeen Garg.

His contributions to Assamese music, culture, and cinema will forever remain etched in the memories of his admirers. The music industry has lost a gem whose legacy will continue to inspire generations of artists and music lovers.

May his soul rest in eternal peace. 🕊️

BOKAKHAT KARBI STUDENT’S ASSOCIATION (BKSA) successfully organised a Parents’ Meeting-cum-Awareness Programme at Bokakhat with the participation of Karbi students from JDSG College, CNB College, Best Academy HSC, Bokakhat HSC, and Kaziranga College.

It was an interactive and meaningful session involving students, parents, BKSA leaders, and former BKSA leaders, where discussions were held on the importance of pursuing quality education, fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of parents, and staying away from all activities that can harm a student’s career and future. Special emphasis was laid on avoiding intoxicants and engaging in positive, constructive pursuits that build character and success.

The programme was organised under the leadership of Mr. Sar-im Tokbi, President, BKSA, and Miss Pirbi Lekthepi, General Secretary, BKSA, along with all the Office Bearers. The event was graced by Mr. Semson Engti, Founder & Former General Secretary, BKSA (2017–19), Mr. Borlieh Engleng, Chief Adviser, Mr. Mahesh Singnar, Adviser & Mr. Chetong Terang.

BKSA extends heartfelt gratitude to all the parents, students, and well-wishers who made the event successful. Together, let’s work for a disciplined, educated, and progressive student community.
