A week ago, a tragic fire incident occurred in Mala village at the house of Patamani Murmu, an enrolled student of Suchana. The fire completely destroyed their thatched-roof house, leaving the family in a very helpless condition. Patamani lives with her two sisters and a nephew in a small house measuring approximately 6×6 square feet.
Upon receiving the information, the Suchana team immediately reached the spot and provided emergency relief, including a Polithin and some food items. A few days later, Suchana extended further support by distributing essential items such as a blanket, chadar, sataranchi, rice, potatoes, oil, and other necessities. The local Panchayat also visited the affected family and provided additional assistance.
