🎓🌾 Learning Beyond Classrooms, Growing Through Experience 🌾🎓

As part of their academic and professional development journey, students from **Women's College, Autonomous College, Baripada and Sai Degree College, Baripada** successfully completed their internship under the **Shree Anna Abhiyan Project** at **Suliapada, Mayurbhanj** during June 2026.

The internship provided valuable exposure to millet-based livelihoods, sustainable agriculture practices, community engagement, and grassroots development initiatives. Through field interactions and practical learning, the students gained firsthand insights into the importance of Shree Anna (Millets) in nutrition, climate resilience, and rural livelihoods.

We congratulate all the interns for their enthusiasm, dedication, and active participation in strengthening sustainable food systems.

🌾 Empowering Communities to Preserve Agricultural Heritage 🌾

An Orientation Programme for Community Resource Persons (CRPs) was successfully conducted in Mayurbhanj under the project **"Revival and Sustainable Intensification of Forgotten Foods and Neglected Crops in Odisha."**

The programme focused on strengthening the capacities of CRPs to identify, document, conserve, and promote indigenous crops and traditional food systems. These efforts will contribute towards enhancing agrobiodiversity, nutritional security, and sustainable livelihoods in rural communities.

Together, we are taking a step towards preserving Odisha’s rich agricultural heritage for future generations.
