করোনা মহামারির সেই কঠিন সময়ে, যখন গোটা পৃথিবী লড়ছিল জীবন ও মৃত্যুর সঙ্গে, তখনই সমাজের আর্থিকভাবে পিছিয়ে পড়া বহু পরিবারের শিশুদের জীবনেও শুরু হয়েছিল আর-একটি কঠিন লড়াই।
মহামারির পর আর্থিক সংকটের কারণে অনেক পরিবার তাঁদের ছেলে-মেয়েদের স্কুলে পাঠানো বন্ধ করে দিতে বাধ্য হয়েছিলেন। সেই সময় থেকেই AASHI শুরু করেছিল আর-একটি লড়াই—এই শিশুদের আবার স্কুলমুখী করার লড়াই, তাঁদের শিক্ষার অধিকার ফিরিয়ে দেওয়ার লড়াই এবং তাঁদের স্বপ্নগুলোকে বাঁচিয়ে রাখার লড়াই।
করোনার সেই দিন থেকে আজও AASHI সেই লড়াই চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। শুধু Barasat নয়, পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে শিক্ষা, শিশুদের উন্নয়ন এবং সমাজের পিছিয়ে পড়া মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর কাজ করে চলেছে AASHI।
এই দীর্ঘ পথচলায় AASHI-এর পাশে যাঁরা নিরন্তর থেকেছেন, তাঁদের মধ্যে অন্যতম আরাধনা ডান্স অ্যাকাডেমির কর্ণধার ও শিক্ষিকা, শ্রদ্ধেয়া শিমুল গঙ্গুলি মহাশয়া।
করোনার সেই কঠিন সময় থেকেই তিনি AASHI-এর পাশে থেকেছেন। শিশুদের প্রতি তাঁর ভালোবাসা, মমতা ও সহযোগিতার হাত সবসময়ই AASHI-এর পাশে থেকেছে।
তাঁর নিজের অ্যাকাডেমির বার্ষিক অনুষ্ঠানের এই বিশেষ আনন্দের দিনেও তিনি AASHI-এর শিশুদের কথা ভুলে যাননি। ❤️
AASHI-এর ২০ জন শিশুর হাতে তিনি পুজোর নতুন জামাকাপড় তুলে দিয়েছেন, যা তাদের পুজোর আনন্দকে আরও একটু রঙিন করে তুলেছে। 🎁🌸
এই ভালোবাসা ও মানবিকতার জন্য শিমুল গঙ্গুলি মহাশয়া এবং লাল্টু গঙ্গুলি মহাশয়ের প্রতি AASHI পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে জানাই আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা ও শ্রদ্ধা। 🙏❤️

During the difficult days of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the entire world was struggling for survival, another difficult battle had already begun in the lives of children from financially disadvantaged families.
After the pandemic, many families were forced to stop sending their children to school because of severe financial hardships. It was during this time that Barasat AASHI Welfare Society began another important journey—the journey of bringing these children back to school, restoring their right to education, and keeping their dreams alive.
From those difficult days of COVID until today, AASHI has continued this journey. Not only in Barasat, but across different parts of West Bengal, AASHI continues to work for education, child development and the upliftment of people from disadvantaged communities.
Throughout this long journey, one of the people who has stood consistently beside AASHI is respected Mrs. Shimul Ganguly, Founder and Teacher of Aradhona Dance Academy.
Since the difficult days of COVID, she has continuously supported AASHI and extended her love, care and helping hand towards children in need.
Even on the special occasion of her own academy’s annual function, she did not forget the children of AASHI. ❤️
Today, she brought smiles to the faces of 20 AASHI children by gifting them new clothes for Durga Puja. 🎁🌸
