CBR Network (South Asia) is an international NGO working towards building a strong collaborative network of all NGOs in the field of Community Based Rehabilitation, education of persons with disabilities, women, and rural development. With its regional office in Bangalore, in India, the Network is spread over more than thirteen states in India. At the international level, the Network is linked wit
h Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Bhutan, Maldives and Sri Lanka. Since its inception in 1993, the CBR Network has been very active in disseminating information, technical support, training, planning and management of CBR programmes, research, and publications. CBR Network (South Asia) enjoys special consultative status to the United Nation Economic and Social Council, is an associate member of Rehabilitation International, and a board member of the Global Partnership for Disability and Development.
