Sweden-India Business Council x Inara Advisors Manufacturing Delegation 2026: Day 5 in Pune 🇸🇪🇮🇳

The concluding day of the delegation was spent between Horizon Industrial Parks and Eminence Equipments.

Horizon Industrial Parks showcased how built-to-suit industrial infrastructure can support companies looking to establish and scale in India with a visit to Tata Punch Powertrain

At Eminence Equipments, we gained a valuable perspective on the journey of an Indian manufacturing company, from building capabilities to scaling operations.

Sweden-India Business Council (SIBC) x Inara Advisors Manufacturing Delegation 2026: Day 4 in Pune 🇸🇪🇮🇳

Day four took the delegation to Bharat Forge’s Mundhwa facility for a closer look at advanced manufacturing, with a focus on digitalisation, automation, AI and human-machine collaboration offering valuable insights into India’s capabilities as a global engineering and manufacturing hub. Our thanks to Amit Kalyani for our continued collaboration and his team Phani Koundinya, Alok Jha, Sushil Rajput and Laxmiprasad Jahagirdar from Bharat Forge Ltd team for hosting us.

The day concluded with a dinner hosted by the Consulate General of Sweden in Mumbai. Our sincere thanks to the Consul General of Sweden in Mumbai, H.E. Day three of visits to ABB, Pixxel and ArtGarage, offered perspectives across advanced manufacturing, space technology, robotics and autonomous systems.

The visits highlighted the breadth of Bengaluru’s innovation ecosystem and the growing role of innovation, digitalisation and skilled talent in strengthening India’s industrial capabilities with an emphasis on practical technological applications.

Day two took the delegation to Schneider Electric and Hyundai Motor India, offering valuable perspectives on India’s manufacturing ecosystem, innovation and the future of industry.

The visits highlighted the growing importance of digitalisation, sustainability, safety, skills and localisation in strengthening India’s manufacturing capabilities.

A day of insightful conversations and learning, with a shared focus on building more resilient, innovative and globally competitive manufacturing ecosystems.

Sweden-India Business Council x Inara Advisors Manufacturing Delegation 2026: Day 1 in Chennai 🇸🇪🇮🇳

The delegation visited two leading manufacturing facilities in Tamil Nadu, followed by an evening hosted by Guidance Tamil Nadu.

ZF’s Oragadam facility and First Solar’s Sriperumbudur facility, both are a true showcase of advanced engineering, localisation, digitalisation and sustainability. Thank you Paramjeet Singh Chaddha from ZF and Vijayan S. from First solar

The day concluded with a networking dinner and reception hosted by Guidance Tamil Nadu, bringing together engaging discussions on Tamil Nadu’s manufacturing landscape, investment opportunities and the support available to companies setting up and scaling in the state. , CEO, GX Group , also shared his experience of building R&D capabilities in Chennai and manufacturing operations across India.

That was the takeaway that set the tone for the kickoff reception in Chennai of the Manufacturing Delegation, organised by Sweden India Business Council (SIBC) in collaboration with Inara Advisors.

As Swedish companies engage with partners across Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune this week, the delegates came together for a discussion on understanding the nuances about doing business in India.

The engaging discussions on supply chains, people and collaborative potential set the stage for a week of meaningful exchanges and learning across India’s manufacturing landscape.

A special thank you to Mikael Gislen, CEO of Gislen Software, for joining us and sharing insights from his 33 year journey in India. His experience of adapting Swedish work culture to the Indian context, while building a strongly employee-centric organisation, was a fitting reminder that long-term success comes from understanding the market and its people.

Investor & Tech Event, Stockholm | Connecting Sweden and India Through Innovation and Capital

In June, the Sweden-India Business Council brought together a curated group of investors and innovation leaders under the banner of the Sweden-India Tech Community (SITEC) – the leading platform for tech, investment and innovation collaboration between Sweden and India.

While many of our initiatives focus on specific industries, SITEC connects people through a shared passion for tech, innovation and capital. It creates opportunities for investors, founders and business leaders across sectors to exchange ideas, build relationships and learn from one another.

We were delighted to welcome our Senior Advisor, Prasad Vanga, Founder of Anthill Ventures to Stockholm - who shared insights from years of investing in deep-tech founders and scaling innovation. Our member Peder Wallenberg also shared his perspectives and ambitions for India, leading to engaging discussions on the opportunities for deeper Sweden-India collaboration.

The evening also featured valuable perspectives from Elise Lilliehöök of , Ameer Ibrahim | 严鸣 |, of Nexular, Richard Leksell of Talentium - together with Noi Cecilia Christina Oldne and Robin Sukhia from Sweden-India Business Council.

Our Chief Guest, H.E. Anurag Bhushan, Ambassador of India to Sweden, addressed the gathering and shared encouraging perspectives on the growing partnership between Sweden and India, and the opportunities ahead.
