The purpose of OWC of Bangalore is to welcome foreign newcomers in Bangalore and help them to establish themselves in the community.

Our community of international women and men with a charitable heart welcomes foreigners and returning Indians to Bangalore and helps them settle into this city and culture. To do that we promote sociability among members and families by organising events and missions to work together for the good of all. We promote social welfare by aiding needy public charitable projects.

rted by the Overseas Women's Foundation Bangalore (OWFB), the charitable trust under which the OWC of Bangalore functions. We encourage our members to volunteer with these supported charities, as well as with the OWC of Bangalore which is run by members volunteering their skillset and time.

Since 2003, our Thursday Coffee Mornings at The Leela Palace have been more than just coffee ☕️ — they’ve been a welcoming first hello, the start of friendships, support networks, and countless connections for thousands of members new to Bangalore.

When The Leela Palace opened its doors in August 2001, little did we know it would become such a special part of the ICB story (formerly OWC). Over two decades later, we are incredibly grateful to The Leela Palace for continuing to host this cherished tradition.

🎨 An evening with a legend at
Last night, we had the absolute privilege of spending time with the one and only Paul Fernandes, Bangalore’s most beloved illustrator, and one of the warmest souls in the room.
Paul shared the stories, the humour and inspirations behind his iconic nostalgic Indian art series, and shared how his love of drawing started almost before he could walk.
Visiting the gallery in person hits differently when you hear the stories behind the pieces. There’s so much heart in every frame.
